You have the option to investigate of of two topics: Koories and Tourism.The project must reflect the special topic of Net Days - Our Australia...Our World.

Tasks

Choose one. Using the links attached to this page, and in keeping with our theme, Our World, prepare a presentation which presents the story of the indigenous people of Australia, past, present and future. Click here. Focus on their contributions to our art and culture. Look at where they live and how they live.

OR

Tourism has much to offer for the future of our community. Click here for appropriate links. Tourism is often said to be the solution to rural decline. It promises many jobs and by its very nature brings in many visitors.

In both projects, remember your audience. Atract their attention.

Process

Read the pages and use the information to present a project to the class. It may be presented as a power point, web page or on poster paper. Use illustrations from the sites. Use the information you gain to highlight the contribution each can make to Australia.

Evaluation

Pay attention to spelling, writing and expression. Use illustrations which helpyour point of view.
