Ms trotter said that there were over 60 organised sporting competitions in the Wimmera to choose from.
Most 7A students belonged to a club. They went for something to do, to meet friends, because they liked it. Ms Trotter spoke about how their membership connected them to their community. It kept them healthy. She exlained that this was the historic need met by sporting clubs. Families on isolated farms had a chance to socialise with their neighbours.
